This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 232219, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related. Build: NetBeans IDE 8.0 (Build 201403101706) VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, 25.0-b70, Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment, 1.8.0-b132 OS: Windows 7 User Comments: Ujigami_Guy: Long delay when IDE receives focus and an HTML file is the active file. Maximum slowness yet reported was 26600 ms, average is 26600

Additional Info: I have had 10 occurrences of this "long delay" problem in the last 15 minutes ranging in time from 21 to 74 seconds. This does not appear to be related to the HTML file I was editing since the problem persisted after closing that file. The problem seems to have disappeared after restarting the IDE (without the HTML file loaded). Netbeans 7 was sometimes slow when editing this same HTML file, perhaps delays up to 5 seconds. Hope this helps.
720962, 721308: o.n.core.windows.actions.RecentViewListAction.actionPerformed results in reading TopComponent data from the disk in EDT. Reassigning to platform/Window System. Please evaluate it, thank you. (The disk was very slow in all profiler snapshots. A single File.exists() took 16 - 70 seconds.)
