Reproducible at will following these steps:

NB8 beta: export settings to a file
NB8 rc1: import settings from a file - hit OK, Netbeans crashes.

I am sorry but I cannot reproduce in NetBeans IDE 8.0 (Build 201403101706). Please try the latest build, not beta/rc, and reopen if it still happens for you, attaching at least the log file. Thank you for reporting.
