Description markiewb 2014-02-20 21:44:19 UTC
Is there a way to replace the default non printable chars to custom ones? I want to be able to let them visible all the time in such a way that they will not disturb my reading.

I want to be able to replace:

. (space) to nothing
> (tab) to ▸
¶ (eol) to ¬

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
