1. Open java source file
2. From context menu of file, choose Tools->Diff To and then choose same file.
3. On the right side, click on a line near the bottom.
4. IMPORTANT: Do not cross the Diff Window partition with mouse on the next steps. Swing the mouse cursor up and over the partition and down or down under it and back up.
5. On the left side, click on a line about 5 up.
6. On the left, click on line about 10 up.
7. on the left, click on a line about 10 up.
8. Notice the grey blob that covers the middle partition. It covers the thin border.

Hover mouse over it or scroll document and it goes away.
