This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 181584, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

Build: NetBeans IDE 7.4 (Build 201310111528)
VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, 24.51-b03, Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment, 1.7.0_51-b13
OS: Windows 7

CharlieB: Created new basic Java project (with only one file in it at this point).  Right clicked on project, to set properties, and experienced a nearly one minute freezup before the properties box appeared.



Maximum slowness yet reported was 51652 ms, average is 51652

The whole time in AWT is spent in sun.awt.Win32GraphicsDevice.isPixFmtSupported[native]()
