Sound to me that you can only select on label at assignement time. 

I imagine a spec with sanity label and javaee label
 
Maybe it may be usefull to have possibilty to have a more complex label selector
maybe maven tribe will use that to quick test first:
 sanity !javaee 

but also a javaee may want to 
 sanity && javaee

Just for maybe using more possibilty with the label synergy give to us.
