Description Michel Graciano 2014-01-02 12:39:59 UTC
[ JDK VERSION : other ]

I will attach a image with the error, but basically it is a warning and if I
confirm, it finishes the operation, but it should be fixed if possible. I use
the URL https://qa.netbeans.org/processes/cat/bug_form.html to file this kind
of issue.

I am adding Jiri here because I think he will be able to route it too.

I am afraid there is no easy solution to this particular problem. Bugzilla generates a token in step #1 (selection of product) and compares it after completion of step #2 (submission of details) so there is no chance to avoid the warning if we want to keep the automated assignment of product and component.

According to Marco Walther we need to get the real enter_bug form in the background in order to get our hands on a valid token.

So, the only "workaround" is to push "Confirm Changes" button at the moment.

Any idea how to embed the real bug form while making the submission only a 1-step process?
Comment 5 Michel Graciano 2014-01-12 17:12:10 UTC
Since it do not impact the whole NetBeans user base, just NetCAT, it could be closed as WONTFIX explaining the technical difficulty.
Comment 6 Jiri Kovalsky 2014-01-14 12:19:20 UTC
We have moved the bug submission form to a new location [1] and implemented a workaround. I consider the bug fixed.

It seems that the workaround does not work again. Honzo, can you please investigate what changed? Thanks!

Honzo, any update on this issue please?
