In HTML5 projects based on (or similar to) Yeoman setup, lots of dependencies (in node_modules) cause the IDE to background-scan for a long time. Since Node.js dependencies are irrelevant in the scope of the project, it'd make perfect sense to have a feature that allows to ignore folders for Background Scan. The node_modules bit of the project is usually the heaviest folder there is in HTML5 projects. Please consider, it'd speed up the IDE a lot, I'm sure.
Yes, it would be very useful to have such a functionality, because I already have the same problem developing Node.js based projects under Windows.
