Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201312050002) Operating System = Windows 8 version 6.2 running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_45 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.45-b08 Windows 6.3.9600, domain member, standard user (no admin) - install NetBeans (nightly build, some days old), choose to install GlassFish 4 --> NB installs GF at C:\Program Files\glassfish-4.0 and creates a domain at C:\Users\mmueller.VIRTUAL\AppData\Roaming\NetBeans\dev\config\GF_4.0\domain1 where mmueller is user, .VIRTUAL is domain both locations are standard since a long time - next install current build --> NB reports GF as already installed - open IDE after installation - choose tools, server --> ##### no server is shown ##### - add server --> NB wants to browse and and starts at C:\Users\mmueller.VIRTUAL\GlassFish_Server - browse to the former installation --> NB reports no valid domain found and suggest to create a new one at C:\Users\mmueller.VIRTUAL\personal_domain_1 - enter the original path --> Server can be used Same problems happens with every new installation since apx. Nov. Why does NB assume these paths? C:\Users\mmueller.VIRTUAL\GlassFish_Server C:\Users\mmueller.VIRTUAL\personal_domain_1 Should this be a new location (which isn't used on a clean install)?
