The following also happens on my Windows 7 system in addition to my Linux system.

In netbeans 7.4, at least in our configuration, the JIRA plugin fails when searching for tasks by text.  This happens both from the Find Tasks window and when updating tasks in the commit window and searching for the matching issue.

This worked in netbeans 7.3 (although then it was issues, not tasks)

Our task repository (issue tracker) use https protocol on a non-standard port (8380) if that matters.  We do not use https authentication.


Also, going to a task by key from the Find Tasks window returns a 404 error if the key is not found.  I am not sure if that is related.

Workaround for now is to just work by issue number and do everything else from my browser.

just in case - please reproduce the problem and attach your messages.log file to the issue

also provide the version of your jira server
