Steps to reproduce: 1. Install FFJ. 2. Specify user directory location. 3. Uninstall it by Control Panel->Add/Remove programs. 4. Restart computer and install again FFJ. Expected result: uninstaller should remove UserDir property and at first start of IDE it should ask user of user directory Actual result: UserDir property still exist in registry. At first start of IDE it doesn't ask about userdir. Well reproduced under Windows NT SP4.0 with FFJ 4.0 EE rc4
This is a bug in the Sun's Forte for Java 4 installer that has been logged in the internal bug tracking system as http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4647547.html This is not a bug in the NB installer, so I'm closing this issue as INVALID.
Resolved for 3.4 or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
