Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.4 (Build 201310111528)
Operating System = Linux version 3.11.4-201.fc19.x86_64 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_40
Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 24.0-b56

To reproduce:
    Click on an open project and either use a key combination to run Source->Format (I use Alt+Shift+F) or choose Source -> Format from the top menu.

Result:
    Confirmation box asking "Recursivelly format the selected files and folders?"

Expected:
    Confirmation box asking "Recursively format the selected files and folders?"

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
