Description abien 2013-09-25 11:15:14 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.4 RC1 (Build 201309162201) -> this bug also happens on older NB versions
Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.8.5 running on x86_64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_25 (u40 has other issues)
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.25-b01

JVM crashes, and so NetBeans, if you start NetBeans close the lid, or hibernate the machine, re-activate it again and attempt to work with NetBeans.

You get the typical Mac-crash-reporter (it also happened during the JavaOne 2013 keynote).

This also happens sometimes, when you switch to an external monitor or beamer.

The bug is a little be harder to reproduce, but it happens regularly.
