1. Go to: Tools > Options > Editor > Hints > {Language: Java}

>> there is incorrect background of some checkboxes in list

Why java hints highlight some categories?

Reproducible

The background is pink when some of the sub-nodes are selected.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
