Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201307292300) Java: 1.7.0_40-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.0-b52 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_40-ea-b33 System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_US (nb) When GF 4 server is removed from the list of Servers, it appears there again after IDE restart. It seems to happen only when the server was installed together with the IDE, because other previously installed servers found and autoregistered by installer doesn't reappear. There was a similar older issue with GF 3 which may be related: http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195834
Tested with nightly dev build 201308042300 - installed by root (both server and glassfish) and started as regular user. Removed server from installer, restarted NetBeans and servises niode is empty. Now one more try with installing under user that will run NetBeans. No server was registered first time because of existing dev setup from previous attempt. So again with dev config removed. See GF 4 registered by setup. Removing, restarting NetBeans ... And see no GF4 after restart. Are you sure that you did not remove dev config when restarting? I'm closing this bug to let you test it again with latest dev build. But maybe it's some OS dependent issue, who knows. Feel free to reopen it again if you still see this problem. I may need some help from you to reproduce it.
I can still reproduce in 201308122300 on Windows 7. I haven't tried different OS yet, I'm going to check what I have available.
This seems to be fixed. Perhaps it was a duplicate of (or related to) issue #254197.
