It would be great to have support (code highlighting at least) for nginx configuration files. There is already support for Apache configuration files, so it should be fairly easy to extend upon this to support nginx as well. Using the Apache template, NetBeans keeps reporting errors in the configuration files and the highlighting fails.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

I am using NetBeans 8.2. NGINX configuration files do not have proper syntax highlighting.

It is still relevant. It has syntax highlighting of an conf file, but some errors.
