Although I don't see this myself, according to Merl Jr. Creps there are some zombie verifications like for example for the J2ME Polish Plugin [1] which are not visible for other verifiers.

It's true that the J2ME Polish Plugin is surprisingly in the Pending state but other verifiers except Merl and Senthil cannot influence it.
