Description Milan Kubec 2002-05-03 11:17:43 UTC
Debugger window visual and real estate clutter is
getting more visible now. I tried to use debugger
on laptop with 1024x768 res. and it's almost
unusable there (see attached image). I counted
that utilized space is 70% on attched dialog and
the rest of 30% are toolbars, tabs, titles. These
all could be avoided IMHO and space can be much
better utilized.

1) toolbars should be switchable and movable (the
same way as in Main Window). And all toolbars
actions as well as switches for toolbars can be
accessible through right click pop-up menu a also
by shortcuts. Small cross for turning off some
view can be next to view title too.

2) view titles can be avoided too, since they are
just duplicate of the same string couple pixes
next (all titles are also titles of first column
in each table).

These settings are mainly for advanced users, but
I think they can help to work with debugger on
smaller displays. I don't mean this as default
setting, of course, but as customization for
advanced users.
