NetBeans 7.3 hides hidden linux files, at least on Linux (starting with a dot).
Some hidden dirs actually need to be accessed - eg. the ".openshift/" directory contains OpenShift's configuration of JBoss AS 7 server.

It would be nice to have a context menu item "Hide/show hidden files" which would toggle this.
