I was editing a breakpoint condition when this deadlock occurred. I have hit
ctrl+space with the cursor at the beginning of the name of a variable which was
not in scope. The popup-list of possble completions is visible.

Should be already fixed. What is your IDE build number?

I'm not sure because I have since reinstalled, but it was the latest RC1 build available to the NetCAT program (not the RC1 which was actually published)
