Description gunny 2013-01-06 20:28:12 UTC
The delete key deletes 2 characters after a while on osx.

This happens on..
osx 10.7 and 10.8

With these combinations.
netbeans 7.2.1 - with jdk 1.7.0_7 or 1.7.0_10
netbeans 7.1.2 - with jdk 1.7.0_7 or 1.7.0_10

I have found no combination of osx, jdk, and
netbeans that works without this bug.

You have a bug like this marked resolved.
It is not resolved.

I use netbeans to work on a java project
for a while and then this happens.

I do use svn when this happens if you are having trouble recreating this bug.

workstation #2: mini mac with standard keyboard.

This happens on both workstations.

The problem is, that original bug (issue 208651) was fixed for 7u4, so 7u7 should be fine - and it isn't ;(

Assuming that Apple's JDK6 works fine...
Can you figure out reliable steps to reproduce that we can try to replicate problem? We can file to JDK team then.
Thanks in advance

As it was already confirmed in bug 219853 - even the problem was reproducible with JDK7u10, it's not with JDK7u11.

Anybody facing this issue : please upgrade your JDK to 7u11.

If you are able to reproduce the problem with JDK7u11 or newer, please reopen bug 219853 with relevant informations : JDK version/NB version/OSX version

Thanks in advance.
