Description Yaytay 2012-12-23 06:39:36 UTC
I work with a large number of projects - I've just closed about ten in order to make restarting netbeans more acceptable and I'm still left with 18 open projects.

No matter how 'bad' a large sub-menu is, having unnecessary projects open is worse, but unless I can quickly get between any of these projects that is my only option.

The limit on the size of the MRU list seems to be entirely arbitrary, based, presumably, on what makes a good sized submenu.
Please can this be made configurable - I don't care if it takes a second to open a huge menu, as long as it lets me move quickly between 50+ projects without wasting resources keeping them all open.

From my point of view there doesn't need to be any UI for changing the size of the list, but it might reduce requests if there is.

Thank you.

You might want to consider using the Project Group feature (Accessible from File> menu) that is specifically designed for easy switching between bigger sets of projects.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
