Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.2 (Build 201207171143)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_07
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 23.3-b01

I upgrade netbeans 7.1 to netbeans 7.2 when I tried to run my previously created project an error showed 

log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.

The error is printed by NetBeans, or by your own application?
It seems that you are attempting to write to file 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_07\jrelog4j_jgap_lf.log.
Do you have permissions to write to this file?
Didn't you run the previous NetBeans version as administrator?

This module uses Apache logging framework:
net.didion.jwnl.dictionary.Dictionary.<clinit>(Dictionary.java:24)

It fails probably because the logger does not initialize correctly.
