Currently when you use "Go to file" to open properties file it will be opened in "open" view and it is impossible to go to the "edit" view from here so either group open/edit options for properties file so that user can go from one view to another just like in source/history case or add select in projects+copy file path to the "open" option... Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201209220001) Java: 1.7.0_10-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.6-b02 System: Mac OS X version 10.7.4 running on x86_64; US-ASCII; ka_GE (nb)
I added Bug #218983, I think go to file should open property file in edit mode not in this multibundle structure
The problem is that the "open" view usually displays more than one file so we can't use the multi-view mechanism (source/history) as you suggested > or add select in projects+copy file path to the "open" option... Unfortunately I'm not sure what do you mean by this. Can you explain it again? Thanks
