Description tms1979 2012-08-04 13:52:09 UTC
When I run NetBeans itself on Java 6 and a project is set up for Java 7 and has an annotation processor built for Java 7 (such as the one I submitted for bug 211882 ) I experience that NetBeans silently does not run the annotation processor. It behaves as if "Enable Annotation Processing" is disabled under project properties, while I'd greatly appreciate a warning of some sort in that case.

To clarify one point; building works fine but the editor doesn't run the annotation processor.

Report from old NetBeans version. Due to code changes since it was reported likely not reproducible now. Feel free to reopen if happens in 8.0.2 or 8.1.
