Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.2 (Build 201207171143)
Java: 1.6.0_33; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 20.8-b03-424
System: Mac OS X version 10.7.4 running on x86_64; MacRoman; ka_GE (nb)

I have selected new project wizard->Maven->Project with existing pom.xml, click next button, before i saw that the cursor was blinking in incorrect place. This prevented me to notice the message (Any Maven-based project can be opened and used within the IDE without any import procedure.) for couple of second.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
