This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
If I am logged in to netbeans.org and try to go to bugzilla, I end up in the "not much happening right now" page. If I find a bug, it looks as if I'm not logged in, and if I click on the "log in" link, it says I am already logged in. In short, sanity only exists if I log out, then go to bugzilla, and then log in.
I have the same(similar) issue from time to time, but don't remember to login at netbeans.org, only at bugzilla page. and logout-login is a workaround for me too.
+1 Happens to me too. Honza let me know if I could you attach any valuable information which could help you resolve this issue, thanks...
Hi, can can you please try it again? Kenai deployed some fixes last Monday and several other issuer related to login were fixed. Thanks
> can can you please try it again? Just tried with google chrome, and the symptom is the same: I'm logged in when I clicked on this bug, which said I needed to log in. I click on the log in button and it takes me to the "not much happening right now" page. However, if I log out, and *then* go to this bug, then click on log in, then I will get back to this bug's page and it will say I'm logged in. I should note that after going through this to get to the "truly logged in" state, and I click on the link to this bug, it will take me to the bug and still show me as logged in. In fact I can't seem to find a way to get back into the logged in/not logged in state. So perhaps there is a new cookie installed that fixes the problem. I'll close, but will reopen if I hit this again.
just got "You are already logged in" on attempt to log in. log out - login works as before. should I clean old cookies or try later?
I have to reluctantly agree... I'm not sure this is fixed. I've had two incidents one on each of the two machines I use where I was logged in/not logged in. I don't know what the conditions are for causing this to happen.
Yes definitely still there. Presumably the cookies expire for bugzilla before the cookies for netbeans expire. That is, after three days, netbeans thinks I'm still logged in but bugzilla does not agree. This is a bit irritating to me, but since I know how to get around it, it is tolerable. But for anyone new to the site this has got to be incredibly frustrating. This would drive potential contributors away.
Yes, I think everybody in nb.org are facing this problem very often .. I think we could try to escalate it.
This bug has been driving me nuts for months :) I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing it.
@Jan Pirek Honza, could you please report to Kenai team ? Afterwards I'll ask John to escalate. Thanks in advance.
Please inform the Kenai team that this problem is much bigger than just Netbeans. This affects all Kenai projects, such as Jersey (which uses JIRA). Meaning, I go to https://java.net/jira/browse/JERSEY, click "login", get redirected to Kenai only to be told I'm already logged in.
kenai issue created: https://kenai.com/jira/browse/KENAI-4188
This issue is supposed to get fixed by September 13th, 2013 (after having been pushed back almost 3 months). Let's hope they *finally* fix it. As a side-note, I've added dependent issues which I believe are duplicates. Please review them and close as necessary.
Still reproducible, press login on issue page and goes to "my page" where I'm logged in already, have to log out manually and relogin, firefox 24.0 if it's matter.
Have not seen this in quite a while.
