Description ulfzibis 2012-07-02 11:23:26 UTC
Please add a check box in editors search bar to find the search string in favour for program language semantics.
This could be simply named "Uses" (tool tip could explain more detailed). Refer bug 152130.
I combination with [Replace], this setting should provide a short cut to Menu->Refactor->Rename. Refer bug 214986.

As we allow find next w/o replacing here, additionally interesting functionality would be provided: Only rename current selection, if [Replace] is hit, but not if [Find Next].

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
