Please try to use ML 7.2RC1 and open "Find in Project" dialog.

For example, when the following checkbox is selected,

Use Ignore List

(edit) link is activated.

However, when I tried in Japanese locale and translation,

"(edit)" text shrank and just "(" is displayed.

In English locale, there is no issue.

I tried it on Windows and Solaris, I got the same issues.
JDK is 1.7.0_03 or 04. I'll attach screenshots.

Try to start NetBeans 7.2 RC1 in Japanese locale. You can run NetBeans in Japanese environment or put --locale ja option.

Masaki, can you please verify ASAP? We should consider backporting to release72 if this easy fix works.
