See issue #212895; I have rewritten the update to be asynchronous, waiting only bounded time for nestedItems to appear, however it seems I tested the fix poorly - several issues were reported, and I've found potential deadlocks in the code.

The fix should be reverted for NB-7.2, and developed + tested properly in the trunk, possibly reaching 7.2.1.

I tested php and html files and I didn't find a problem, so verified
