Description ttokoly 2012-06-07 10:57:06 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201206070001)
Java: 1.7.0_04; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 23.0-b21
System: Linux version 3.0.0-20-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)

I'm using Linux Ubuntu 11.10 32b.

If you start your Linux Ubuntu with GNOME Classic settings and run your NB IDE with JDK 7, the tooltips over buttons et. doesn't shows up.

Tooltips are fine if You:
1) Use JDK 6.
2) Start Ubuntu with GNOME (not GNOME Classic) mode (there the JDK 7 is OK).

Tested with jdk demo SwingSet2.jar.
