After installing the NetBeans 7.2 beta, I added the phython modules, and Netbeans (buggily) worked.
But after I stopped NetBeans, I am unable to start it again. I get multiple (reported) exceptions, and end up with a blank gray area.

Is there some way to reset Netbeans each time?

Thank you for your report. I'm sorry you had difficulties. Although the current issue has not yet been fixed in a _Production_ build, it has been added to the backlog. 

Current instructions for installation of Python Support on NetBeans IDE can be found at: http://wiki.netbeans.org/PythonInstall These instructions work for specific releases only, but the resulting build DOES NOT exhibit the bug you have dewscribed.
