Java: 1.6.0_26; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 20.1-b02
System: Linux version 3.0.0-12-generic running on amd64; UTF-8; en_US (nb)

If you take a look on the attached screenshot, there is mention that Firefox is one of the suitable browsers for testing REST WS using local client. But actually it was likely FF security issue and it's fixed in the latest versions. So the message at the local client should probably say something like "(suitable for older browsers)" or similar.

This issue has been fixed some time ago. The Firefox reference has been removed by https://hg.netbeans.org/web-main/rev/bbdc093a90de and then this section was rewritten by https://hg.netbeans.org/web-main/rev/4d3d13be5085 and is no longer mentioning any specific browser.
