Description John Jullion-ceccarelli 2002-03-04 15:50:26 UTC
Need help IDs on the following nodes (putting it all in one place although some
are javacvs and some are generic vcs):

*VCS Command nodes in runtime tab, all
*VCS group nodes - main node has one but individual vcs group nodes don't.
*Versioning Explorer nodes, alll
*Generic VCS and Javacvs Filesystem nodes
*Separate help ids on each tab of filesystem properties for vcs generic and
javacvs filesystems.
Comment 1 Milos Kleint 2002-03-08 07:54:26 UTC
reassining
Comment 2 Milos Kleint 2002-03-08 10:38:01 UTC
everyting is fixed in main trunk with the exception of the helpid on
the property tabs. I've filed an enhancement request against openide
that this bug depends on.
Comment 3 Jiri Kovalsky 2002-03-11 08:38:10 UTC
Could you please verify this bug, John ? Thanks.
Comment 4 John Jullion-ceccarelli 2002-03-11 09:21:00 UTC
Can't verify because somehow the switch that prints out what Help IDs
the IDE calls (-J-Dorg.netbeans.core.Help=0) is broken, so I can't
see what's being called. Is there any other way to test the Help IDs?
Comment 5 Patrick Keegan 2002-03-11 11:18:46 UTC
Is -J-Dorg.netbeans.core.Help=0 not working at all, or just not for this type of case?

You could always try mapping the IDs to some dummy pages and create a test build.
Comment 6 John Jullion-ceccarelli 2002-03-18 11:37:21 UTC
In Runtime tab, top VCS Commands node and nodes for each VCS
filesystem still have org.openide.explorer.ExplorerPanel ID.

For filesystem properties, all tabs still have
org.openide.loaders.DataFolder.
Comment 7 John Jullion-ceccarelli 2002-03-18 11:38:50 UTC
oops, sorry, forgot that the property tabs depend on 21341 :-/
Comment 8 Milos Kleint 2002-03-20 15:50:47 UTC
the runtime nodes are fixed, I've forgot about them since I wrongly
understood the initial comment,sorry..

the property sets waiting for the openide issue, thus resolving this
issue as LATER until the issue we depend on is fixed.
Comment 9 Martin Entlicher 2002-04-08 15:05:22 UTC
Reopening to be able to mark it as fixed...
Comment 10 Martin Entlicher 2002-04-08 15:09:05 UTC
All help IDs were set, but the last one for which I've created issue
#22190. Please verify whether it's O.K.
Comment 11 Jiri Kovalsky 2002-04-08 16:04:08 UTC
Let's give the verification one more chance, John. :-) Thanks !
Comment 12 John Jullion-ceccarelli 2002-04-10 11:35:31 UTC
Sorry, but both javacvs and generic vcs filesystem nodes
still call org.openide.loaders.DataFolder, as do all tabs
of their property sheets.
Comment 13 Martin Entlicher 2002-04-10 13:02:53 UTC
This is currently not possible, sorry. I have written a request for
this into issue #22190, but it waits for issue #22282 to be fixed.
Please verify the rest of help IDs. Thanks.
Comment 14 John Jullion-ceccarelli 2002-04-10 13:35:44 UTC
oh well :-( we'll get it next time. verify that the rest
of the IDs are working. thanks.
Comment 15 Martin Entlicher 2002-04-11 12:25:32 UTC
Fixed in orion_fcs branch.
Comment 16 Quality Engineering 2003-07-01 12:57:31 UTC
Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
