This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
To reproduce - With recent dev build, install with clean userdir. - Tools>Options>Import - Navigate-to/select 7.1.1 userdir - select All to import all settings from 7.1.1 Observe Do something, like report an exception, in the dialog it does not have the username/password. Almost positive this is a regression. Previously, for several releases, import all would import NB username/password. Setting to P2 since this might be a generic problem with import
Any idea whether or not this is a generic problem with the import mechanism or a problem specific to username/password handling
Restarting the ide the credentials get lost again, so it seems to be specifically a persistence problem with username and password
Changing summary according to comment 2. Changing product/component.
reporters, could you please confirm if you use Team support and if it is setup for netbeans.org
(In reply to comment #4) > reporters, could you please confirm if you use Team support and if it is setup > for netbeans.org I answer "NO", since I don't know what you're talking about.
even though the nb bugzilla username was imported, it wasn't properly provided to the exception reporter - fixed in core-main #8c34a794c8c9
> Restarting the ide the credentials get lost again, so it seems to be specifically a persistence problem with username and password are you talking about the credentials in the exception reporter, or about a repository register under services/issue trackers ?
(In reply to comment #7) I'm talking about the exception reporter
