Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201202130400) Java: 1.7.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 22.1-b02 System: Linux version 2.6.38-13-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) Steps: Have some java file open in editor -> open some dialog (i tried tools|options and project properties)-> close it via system close button(x) -> editor is totally unusable (most normal keys don't work - including letters, numbers, arrows, etc.) strangely some key combinations like code completion work. It seems to me more window system then editor related, but feel free to reassign.
cannot reproduce in Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 20120214-25389264a008) Java: 1.7.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 22.1-b02 System: Linux version 2.6.38-8-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) also works fine on windows 7
maybe there is some race condition, but it happened both to me and Jarda Bachorik (both linux, I use Kubuntu he uses some ubuntu-based distro) it is good it doesn't happen to everybody -> lowering priority to P2
Seems to be duplicate of #208403 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 208403 ***
