Description fallenangel321 2012-02-09 21:20:53 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 (Build 201112071828)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_02
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 22.0-b10

Hello,
When I hit Ctrl+F the incremental Search pops up when im in the editor, however, focus is not set to the field. If i try to type anything in the field, it ignores it and tries using the last searched phrase (I have no idea when it decides to save what I was trying to search before). This is incredibly frustrating when trying to search through a large class for a bit of code and the search does not work. Am I the only one experiencing this? I tried looking around for information, but found none. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hm. It works fine on my Win box. The only diff.s I can see are:
- the JRE - my version is 1.6.29.
- and my Win is the 64-bit prof. variant

Ciao.
