This minor bug is very similar to bug ID 177471 (when click view on html file from nbdev build get 2 windows in broswer, not 1), but this bug report is for a later version of NetBeans and a different operating system. USER ACTION ----------- I click the "View" pop-up menu item on an HTML file from the "Projects" window. EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR ------------------ My expected behaviour is to get one new tab or window in my internet browser showing its rendering of the content of the HTML file. OBSERVED BEHAVIOUR ------------------ My observed behaviour is to get two new tabs or windows in my internet browser showing its renderings of the content of the HTML file. Both tabs or windows (tabs in my case due to my browser's settings) show the expected identical content. WORK-AROUND ----------- Close one of the two new tabs or windows. REPRODUCEABILITY ---------------- Please ask if you need any assistance to reproduce this bug. My IDE environment ------------------ Product version: NetBeans IDE 7.1 (Build 201112071828) Java: 1.6.0_29; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 20.4-b02 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_GB (nb) User directory: C:\Documents and Settings\[...]\.netbeans\7.1 Cache directory: C:\Documents and Settings\[...]\.netbeans\7.1\var\cache Internet browser: Mozilla Firefox 9.0.1
Despite different versions the underlying problem is the same. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 177471 ***
