With 7.1 the german localisation jars are missing. Therefor a platform application which is using the german locale still gets english platform messages.

This is with the final 7.1 release (netbeans-7.1-201112071828-ml-javaee.zip) taken from here:

now trying to prepare community translated build for 7.1. I hope it will be provided soon.

I can confirm that this works now with the community translated builds that were provided today.
