This is a regression AFAIK.
I would like to list all opened issues in the "versioncontrol" product that are assigned to me.

Therefore I went to http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/query.cgi, selected "versioncontrol" product and from "Search By People" wrote "mentlicher" to the first column.

But to my surprise, this did not find anything! It has created following query:

http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?list_id=3130;cf_bug_type=DEFECT;emailtype1=substring;emailassigned_to1=1;query_format=advanced;bug_status=NEW;bug_status=STARTED;bug_status=REOPENED;email1=mentlicher;product=versioncontrol

But I did not select that only DEFECT issues should be searched. This selection is hidden under "Detailed Bug Information". Unless you expand that, you have absolutely no idea that it restricts your search.

Hidden items should not restrict anything.

Marian wanted it originally. But I guess it's not a good idea when that field is hidden.

According to kenai ticket, it is resolved and will be deployed on Dec 16
