Screenshot about the issue

Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 Beta (Build 201109252201)
Operating System = Linux version 3.0.0-12-generic-pae running on i386
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_23
Runtime = OpenJDK Client VM 20.0-b11

I am using Ubuntu 11.10 with the default Unity interface.

The NetBeans window icon displayed in the task switcher has too small resolution (the same small icon is shown in the sidebar).

Please provide a high resolution icon.

I have already changed the launcher icon which was pretty simple, but I could not find the location of the window icon itself. If anyone could give me a hint I could supply a patch for this.

On both GNOME/KDE desktops the icons are stored under /usr/share/icons, in various sizes, the screenshot seems to use 128x128 for the task switcher, but other sizes like 48x48 and 64x64 are also common, so it's better to provide the whole set, here's the example for Google Chrome:

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/128x128/apps/google-chrome.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps/google-chrome.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/google-chrome.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps/google-chrome.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/256x256/apps/google-chrome.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/google-chrome.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/google-chrome.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/apps/google-chrome.png
