Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 Beta (Build 201109222201) Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.0-b17 Edit menu says Find.. is bound to Ctrl-F. Key biundings say "Incremental Serach Foward" is bound to ctrl-F.... pressing ctrl-F does nothing.
Please be more specific; CTRL-F brings up the incremental minisearch bar when used in Editor window and Find in Projects when used elsewhere. What keymap profile do you use, and what window has focus when you press CTRL-F that does nothing ? Thanks.
Editor window had focus. Default keybindings were used and I already explicitly specified that ctrl-F was bound to the incremental search. I have never seen Ctrl-F activate "Find in Projects" I think this may be related to A bug I filed shortly after... that the Find... action was somehow disabled. I just didn't notice that was the problem when Ibfiled this issue. I thought It was enabled when I double checke the menu, perhaps I was mistaken.
Please confirm that the edit action was active. Cannot reproduce in dev build - CTRL-F in an opened editor always opens incremental search minibar.
This is a duplicate of bug #202740 at first I wasn't aware that the Find operation became disabled for some reason.
