Description GustavoSoares 2011-09-12 02:15:06 UTC
Create the classes:

package p2;
import p1.*;
public class C extends B {
  protected long k(){
    return 0;
  }
  public long test(){
    return m();
  }
}
package p1;
public class A {
}
package p1;
public class B extends A {
  long k(){
    return 1;
  }
  public long m(){
    return this.k();
  }
}
apply the pull up method refactoring to m

package p2;
import p1.*;
public class C extends B {
  protected long k(){
    return 0;
  }
  public long test(){
    return m();
  }
}
package p1;
public class A {

    public long m() {
        return this.k();
    }
}
package p1;
public class B extends A {
  long k(){
    return 1;
  }
}

The resulting program does not compile.
