I am running 201109080600 with JDK 7. I do File > New Project > Java. Then I hit Cancel. The next time I choose File > New Project, the window does not open. It must be hiding somewhere, but I can't find it.
Gail, it works for me. Does it occurs for you for any kind of project? Are you able to create usual java project "Java Application"?
The problem happens when I choose File > New Project and then hit Cancel right away. I never actually create a project. The problem occurs no matter what is selected in the dialog box (Java, Maven, Samples and so on).
This is very interesting and looks like P1. Reassigning to platform component since it is not javafx related issue. Gail, please go to Menu-Help-About and paste here info from your NetBeans.
