Description levani 2011-08-15 21:58:51 UTC
As I see netbeans has very poor support for unicode characters. When I type some text using unicode I see only some square symbols instead of the real text. I know that this is some kind of font issue but I've never had the same problem with any other editors! And I've tested a lots of them. So I guess it's quite possible to make unicode support in different way so I don't have to fight with fonts any more... Hope I'm clear.

Sorry for late answer, I never got a notification about your first comment. So here is my messages.log (see attachment).

The only thing I did was that I changed the default font from Tools > Options > Fonts & Colors from the default font to Consolas. After that all English alphabet symbols appear normally but if I try to type something using unicode characters I get some strange symbol.

P.S. I recently switched from Windows to Mac and I haven't experienced the same problem here.
