Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.0 (Build 201104080000) Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.6.7 running on x86_64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 19.1-b02-334 When I open the "Add NetBeans Platform" dialog, I get a blank box. This had me stopped in my tracks until I happened to click up to the parent directory, where I see a normal file browser contents. When I double click on my user directory, it takes me bact to where I started and shows the dirctory contents. I can post images if someone explains how. (I'm not sure this is worth fixing--depending on how many mac users it affects--but it is certainly worth documenting so others know to go up a directory and then navigate back down the tree.)
