There could be wizard like New JSF Managed Bean in Spring support.
It should annotate bean with chosen annotation: controller, component, service, repository and should offer registering that into .xml configuration file.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
