Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9 (Build 201011082200)
Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.6.7 running on x86_64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 19.1-b02-334

The default position for Javadoc documentation on OS X is
/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0_24-b07-334.jdk/Contents/Home

If I select Tools>Java Platforms then choose Java 1.6 and select the Javadocs tab, then Add Zip/Folder...
then I should be able to navigate from /Library through the entire file structure down to docs.jar

However the file chooser will only go down as far as 1.6.0_24-b07-334.jdk and does not see this as a folder which can be opened.

cannot reproduce in build 20111017, jdk 1.6.0_26, max os x 10.6.8
