Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.0 (Build 201104080000) Operating System = Linux version 2.6.35-28-generic running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 19.1-b02 In NetBeans 7, when the output window is not "pinned" to the bottom of the screen, it will automatically hide if I click on something in the projects window, but does not auto hide when I click in a file in the main editing window. NB 6.9 did auto-hide when I clicked in an edit window. See http://forums.netbeans.org/post-103970.html
This is an annoying and counter-productive new feature! Take us back to the old, convenient way of having the output window close when there is a click in the editor window! Please!
Indeed very annoying indeed. Specially visible when trying to upload a file with a key shortcut, the output window comes up and when you want to continue coding, the window doesnt go down anymore until you click inside the output window or on the project/file explorer.
