Description ecerichter 2011-04-23 16:23:56 UTC
I just uninstalled NB 6.9.1 and 7.0 (rc1 and rc2), and installed a fresh new JDK 7.0 and NB 7.0 as follows:

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.0 (Build 201104080000)
Java: 1.7.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 21.0-b09
System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
Userdir: C:\Users\Edson\.netbeans\7.0

When I try to open Services -> Databases, I get the attached exception.

Please help me to fix this ASAP, since working with databases is an integral part of my daily work.

Regards,

Edson.

Seems to be related to Bug 197369.
Isn't this already been fixed?
Comment 3 ecerichter 2011-04-23 20:06:42 UTC
Problem does not occur with JDK 1.6.0.22 (32bit), only with JDK 7.0 (64bit).

Bug 197369 has been fixed after NB7.0, it means the fix will delivered in the next release after NB7.0 (probably a minor release 7.0.1). Could you please verify if it works correctly in recent daily build of NetBeans? The daily builds found at http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/ Thanks a lot
